Sister Library Ceremony

A Sister Library ceremony was held on April 14, 2014 at the BHPI-CRP Library. The BHPI-CRP Library and the Bracken Health Sciences Library, Queen’s University, Canada are now designated as “Sister Libraries.”

The Sister Library program is under the auspices of the U.S. Medical Library Association’s International Cooperation Section and Librarians without Borders.

CRP Observes Open Day

Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP) celebrated the Open Day on Friday, 07 March 2014 at CRP Savar to increase awareness among the general people about disability issues as well as the activities of CRP.

Hon’ble Deputy Speaker of Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad Advocated Fazle Rabbi Miah, MP, was present as Chief Guest and Dr. Enamur Rahman, MP, was the Special Guest. Dr. Valerie Ann Taylor, Founder and Coordinator, Mr. Shafiq-ul Islam, Executive Director, CRP; Volunteers, Patients, Students, Teachers, Staff and distinguished guests and visitors from different sectors of the society joined and enjoyed the celebration.

To mark the day CRP organized colourful cultural programs, sports competitions, a blood donation camp, mela (fair), handicrafts exhibition and sale.
