CRP- Metal Workshop

CRP’s metal workshop produces various helpful devices for the support of inpatients or outpatients throughlatest technologies and innovations. A total of 28 types of mobilitydevices are produced in the metal work shop including wheelchair, Striker bed, Tricycle, Standing frame, Walking Frame, Taylor Brace, Traction Set, Back Slab, Elbow crutch, Lumber corset, Stretcher, Parallel Bar, Pulley set and so on. In this reporting year, the powered wheelchair and one wheel wheelchair were launched.

Currently 27 staff members including 4 wheelchair users are working in this unit. During this reporting year, IGA delivered different devices to BRAC, ICRC, Society for Health Extension & Development (SHED), Resource Integration Centre (RIC) and Disabled Rehabilitation & Research Association (DRRA).
