MUHAMMAD SAIDUR RAHMAN

Chairman, TRP

"I have had the pleasure to watching CRP grow for ourselves, our staff members, our donors and our beneficiaries. "

It has been a great privilege for me to have been involved with the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP) for so many years as the Chairman of the Trust for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (TRP).I have had the pleasure of watching CRP grow for ourselves, our members, our donors and for our beneficiaries. We passedthrough another successful year and reached another step closer to our goal to include people with disability (PWDs) in the mainstream society.

While the external environment for non-profit organizations remains a very challenging one, I have seen our community come together and show resilience, determination and a shared sense of purpose, working effectively as a unified voice for change.

We saw many notable successes during the year under review. Chief among them was the establishment of two service centres in Sylhet and Pabna. This will accelerate the services that are needed by the people in that area.

CRP faced our share of challenges in the fiscal year, as did all of our staff members, but I’m pleased to report that we achieved our goal, thanks to the hard work and dedication of CRP’s team and all of our extended family including friends, volunteers, partners, donors and patrons, from home and abroad who participated in the working groups and other key initiatives.

We count on your continued support and cooperation to CRP in the coming years.
