CRP Moulvibazar - Afsarul & Aktarul Haque Centre was established on its own land, thanks to a generous donation in February 2018 by Mr. Afsarul Haque and Mr. Aktarul Haque, who handed over 53 decimals of land adjacent to the Moulvibazar-Dhaka highway. The centre moved to its permanent facility (2610 SFT) on February 26, 2022, with the support of the Japanese Government and Moulvibazar city residents. The official inauguration of the CRP-Moulvibazar Centre took place on June 23, 2022. CRP Moulvibazar provides the following outpatient services:
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech and Language Therapy
- Campaign-based Prosthetics and Orthotics Services
- Supported Sitting Services
Additionally, the centre has recently introduced a cafeteria and patient accommodation facility with 20 shared beds for patients from remote areas. The centre handles an income-expenditure ratio of 83.5%.
Next Plan of Action:
- Vertical expansion of the building to at least the second floor.
- Construction of a boundary wall with a main gate for improved security.
- Gradually increase the number of therapists to expand the services.
