34th International and 27th National Day of Persons with Disabilities

CRP observed the 34th International and 27th National Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3 with the theme “Fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress.” The celebration began with a rally from CRP Savar (Head Office), attended by patients, staff of CRP, and students of William & Marie Taylor School (WMTS). Sports competitions, livelihood support activities for people with disabilities, and cultural programs performed by WMTS students were organised as part of the celebration. Farid Ahmed Mollah, Additional Director (Social Safety Net), Department of Social Services, was present as the chief guest at the discussion held at Reddaway Hall. Matiur Rahman Sheikh, Social Service Officer (Social Safety Net), DSS; KM Shahiduzzaman, Upazila Social Service Officer, Savar, and Asif Iqbal Chowdhury, Founder, Subarna Nagorik Foundation, were also present as special guests.
